Pop!

This dress is so perfect. Fits like a glove and is really versatile. Also, I love how brightly colored hair looks with an outfit thats entirely neutrals. It's like a pop.

Today marks to first day of my vacation. Though, it's really a stay-cation. We're not going anywhere per say, we are staying here in Hoboken, but we're taking the week off and we have an itinerary of things to do in the city and surrounding areas, and closing up the week with a belated house warming party with all of our friends. I'll be blogging along the way with all the fun stuff we do! One thing I'm reeeeally looking forward to is checking out all the restaurants here in the 'boken. This town is known for its bars and restaurants so a stay-cation is worthwhile just so we have a whole week to try all the places I've been meaning to since moving here.
Alright...gotta get some last minute work things done, now... The whole week that I'm out of the office you can use the coupon code SUMMER for 15% off in the Modern Girl Blitz Shop! Woohoo!

Love,
Midge

Stay-cations are awesome, especially when you make a bunch of plans to enjoy some quality time together. Enjoy the time together!!

So so cute. You used to go to Montauk during the summer, didn't you? Is that you that I'm thinking of? I'd be very jealous if you were going this year (since it was my ex's thing blah blah blah goodbye jerk and goodbye Montauk). I've often thought about moving somewhere outside the city. I really hated living right in the city, but it's awesome to be so close. I might pick your brain a little bit...

hahaha! Yeah, but we're skipping it this year, staying put, felt like this would be something different, and we save on not staying in a hotel. Gonna take advantage of all the museums and parks in the city. Hoboken is kind of the best of both worlds, it has the city vibe being as it is so close but at the same time it has a nice laid back neighborhood feel to it. Also it's only a mile square town SO YOU CAN WALK EVERYWHERE! (big for me, driving...UGH)

I'm still bummed my favorite bar/venue in Hoboken, Maxwell's, closed down last summer. I heard it was purchased and is being reopened as a pizzeria or something under the same name (it might actually already be open). Loving the blue hair on you!

Yeah, it really is a bummer! Maxwell's is pretty much right down the block from me. They just re-opned it as a "family friendly brick oven pizza restaurant". Barf.

And thank you :)
